Welcome to Drug Empire Reloaded - v1.0.1.

Introduction:

Given how there was always a void regarding drug dealing/market empire building mechanics and mods in San Andreas,
this mod aims to fill this gap in an extremely ambitious way.

The concept for the mod has predecessors, the two most notable ones being "Dope Wars" and "Black Market",
both of which were left unfinished and they never realized their full potential.
Years have passed since those mods, and I took upon myself the task to forge those starting ideas into something far larger.

The current, first release of this mod contains new features including:
-(a variety of) drug planting, harvesting, processing, dealing, smuggling mechanics
-property management
-new npcs/contacts as the story progresses
-multiple reputation systems
-a special system called 'Heat', which is a somewhat different approach to the police system
-a completely new storyline with its own characters, all of whom play a special role in the operation
-a unique save system (the standard San Andreas missions and save system are not safe to use once the mod is installed).
-most of which directly interact and correlate with one another (example: drug sold at one specific location interacts with that location's reputation, your money for future sales in that area, your heat, etc).

As the mod progresses, the player gets a feeling of genuine progression towards building a network and operation, not merely just experiencing standalone and not interconnected mechanics.

Requirements:

- GTA San Andreas PC v1.0 US/EU - (important you have a clean v1.0 San Andreas version, and it is preferable you don't have other mods installed)
- CLEO 5
- Optional but recommended: SilentPatch, Widescreen Fix

Installation:

After installing CLEO 5 to you San Andreas folder:
1 - Copy 'drug_empire_v1.cs' to your GTA San Andreas/CLEO folder.
2 - Copy the models/txd/'drugsmenu.txd' file into GTA San Andreas/models/txd folder.
3 - Start a new game, and go behind the store near Grove Street to begin the story.

Controls:

You will get popup texts each time a new control is unlocked, however if you do not remember one, 
the ones you will usually use are:

- P
- Y
- TAB+P
- TAB+O
- H 
- F6 for the Black Market Menu, and F9 for the visual inventory.
(note: I do not own, nor did i create the visuals used for the F9 visual inventory, they belong entirely to the creator of the 'Black Market' mod aside from minimal retexturing, i simply wanted to pay respect by incorporating such an extraordinary feature).

- NUM+7 : save game
- NUM+9 : load game
(note: You can only save at one specific location in Ryder's backyard where you get the 'save game' popup text, see screenshot included in the file for exact location).

 Gameplay/Advice:

- Once you start the story, it is relatively straightforward what to do, however, for the sake of realism, some npc markers do not spawn automatically from far away but only if you get close to the specific npc, 
therefore reading the texts about their location is [STRONGLY ADVISED]! ! !

- During a specific gameplay mechanic called 'slinging', if an npc you are supposed to interact with seems unresponsive, do not be afraid the murder them in cold blood, it will solve the issue.
